I’d like to see if there’s a way that I can customize the sample IDs beyond the default “TYPE-NUMBER-PRIMARY/SECONDARY”. See below:
What I’d like to do is have the customer ID appear prior to the sample type in the sample ID, like this: “CUST-TYPE-NUMBER”.
Additionally, I’d like to see about creating custom sample attributes. This warrants a bit of explaining:
We get samples in bulk, and then subset them for trials. We treat these subset samples with different treatments, which I would like to be a custom sample attribute that would ideally appear where the “PRIMARY/SECONDARY” field is in the sample ID. I would also like to attach methods to this attribute. Is this at all possible?
