For some reason, after logging a sample (pending receipt or received), I cannot change information in the sample header - like Client Sample ID. I can change it, click Save, and it looks like it saved - but when you navigate away from the screen the value disappears.
Any ideas?
I’ve investigated permissions and the users have it:
Honestly it doesn’t matter what field in the sample header I update (Client Sample ID, Client Order Number, etc) it won’t save when I click the Save button.
I’m wondering if it is a bug in the form… going to investigate the code next.
I’m willing to pay someone with knowledge of the issue to fix it at this point. Please message me if interested.

It looks like the senaite.core.sampleheader
template was edited via the Zope Management Interface (ZMI), which is causing issues with Senaite locating the correct template.
To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:
- Log in to the Zope Management Interface (ZMI).
- Navigate to portal_view_customizations.
- Locate the edited template that is causing the issue (it will be highlighted in yellow).
- Go to the Content tab, select the modified template, and click Delete.
- The yellow highlight should disappear, indicating that the default template is restored.
