Looking for SENAITE users / labs (in the Netherlands) to share experiences

Hi everyone,
I am currently exploring SENAITE LIMS for potential use in our laboratory environment.
To get a better understanding of how the system performs in practice—and specifically how it fits within the context of Dutch laboratory standards, regulations, and IT infrastructure—I would love to get in touch with anyone who is currently using or has previously implemented SENAITE in the Netherlands.
I am particularly interested in sharing experiences regarding:
• General usability and daily laboratory workflows. → Is Senaite seriously used software or just for exploring and playing?
• Compliance and validation (e.g., ISO 17025 or ISO 15189 contexts).
• Instrument integration and connecting local lab equipment.
• Handling infrastructure/deployment (e.g., Python/Plone environment).
If you are based in the Netherlands (or nearby) and are open to a short chat, a virtual coffee, or sharing some insights via DM, please let me know or leave a comment below!
Bedankt / Thanks in advance!

Rudolf

Hi @rubru2019

Not based in the Netherlands, neither do we have a client in that region. What discpline is your laboratory into? Clinical? (deduced from the ISO 15189 context requirement?)

What are the Netherland specfic LIMS requirements, we will be able to do a Senaite LIMS Gap analysis on your behalf based on these requirements.

Best regards

Ronald

Hi Ronald, thanks for your reply! We are in the chemical & microbiology discipline. I would like to know organizations that are serious using this LIMS system for daily operations that I can refer to. Based on python 2, and we know no organizations that are using it in the Netherlands, will make it difficult convincing people to try it. best regards Rudolf @ronaldm
