I am working in an environmental lab that would like to replace our failing LIMS with something more openly documented. I have run and demoed a few features of Senaite already, and despite some organizational differences, I think we can make it work!
I see that I can add laboratory control samples and blanks, which is excellent! However, I could not find anything on matrix spikes. I know the complexity of a matrix spike in sample batches (worksheets?) can be a nightmare to configure from our previous system. Has anyone tackled this issue in Senaite already. I would be interested in contributing to a module for sample spikes if one exists, but I am not yet comfortable enough with Senaite or the collaborative coding workflow to do anything substantial.
I come from a SQL-based LIMS, so the Zope Object Database has intimidated me some.
