Render in Report functionality for sample attachments

Hello,

After attaching a PDF file to a sample, I see there is a ‘Render in Report’ option. I was intrigued by this capability, so I published the sample results to see the result. However, the PDF I attached does not show up in the published results. Are my expectations of this functionality incorrect? How does the ‘Render in Report’ option work?

Since making this topic, I’ve come to find that image files render perfectly in published results! Very happy to find this functionality. However, any further articulation of the ‘Render in Report’ functionality would be greatly appreciated.
