we are a research institute, with many independent labs with their own research lines, we also do services for businesses or other research institutes and we also have a central shared chemical and reagents store room.
We don’t know if our use case is covered by senaite … any ideas if it’s a good fit?

We would like to manage the central shared chemical database, allow users to see what is in stock, order new chemicals for purchase, etc.

Many labs also purchase their own reagents and chemicals (private non shared use) and we would like to manage this as well through senaite (only they can see their own stocks of reagents, but they should be able to send tickets/issues to the purchasing dept through senaite. Is this possible?)

Documenting samples and processes related to services (reports, analysis performed on samples). And for research labs if they want to use senaite for this as well.
I think that is it. Most important I guess for us right now is a ticketing system to organize purchases and a database system to browse existence of disposables (plastics), reagents, etc.
