Senaite.jsonapi for automated data ingestion to Senaite?

Hello all. Just getting familiarized with Senaite internals, and I want to verify that we are on the right track. If we want to programmatically stream data to Senaite (without a UI, this would be a real time feed from a source system), we would be able to use senaite.jsonapi to do this?

If not, can you help direct us to the recommended path?
