I am receiving errors when using senaite.astm to send data from cobas c111 to senaite. Please I need assistance to solve this error or to enable to get data from the cobas c111 to senaitelims.

Hi @berchie,

How did you connect the Cobas C111 with your Ethernet?
As far as I know, the Cobas C111 has only a serial port.

In the first snippet, you got 2 times the header H record in a single frame, which is not allowed and makes the checksum fail.

Furthermore, the C111 sends for all intermediate frames an ETB control character (hex \x17).
Currently, senaite.astm handles these as chunked/splitted messages.

Therefore, it won’t work with the current codebase, but we are working on this.

The last error you get is that it can not push to SENAITE.
You need either GitHub - senaite/senaite.lis2a: Import data compliant with standard CLSI LIS2-A2 into SENAITE or a custom endpoint to handle the ASTM message implemented.

I have connected the Cobas C111 to the USR232-32 serial to the Ethernet adapter.

I created a custom endpoint to handle the ASTM message that eliminates the last error “It can not push to SENAITE” but there was no update in SENAITE.

@ramonski Thanks for the information. I have to wait or find an alternative way to send the information to SENAITE. When is the next update available to work with the current codebase?
